Chemical Constituents and Coagulation Activity of <i>Amygdalus persica</i> L. Flowers

The ethyl acetate extract of Amygdalus persica L. flowers (family Rosaceae) was fractionated by silica gel and Sephadex LH-20 column chromatography, and, after recrystallization, oleanolic acid (1), ursolic (2), quercetin (3), kaempferol (4), hesperetin (5), naringenin (6), kaempferol-3- O-glucoside (7) were isolated. Their identities elucidated spectral techniques from their physicochemical properties. Compounds 3-7 identified A. for the first time. All compounds evaluated procoagulant activity determining activated partial thromboplastin time (APTT), prothrombin (PT), thrombin (TT), fibrinogen (FIB) in vitro. coagulation results showed that could significantly prolong APTT TT; shorten PT APTT, PT, TT decrease content FIB compared with blank group. above revealed quercetin, kaempferol, possessed significant activity, while had anticoagulant
